I know how much space drinking can take up.
Hi, I’m Emma, the founder of Today Will Do. I’m a mum of two and I know the juggle of work, family and trying to find a little room for yourself.
For years, I’d start drinking while cooking dinner. But the thinking about it started long before that.
Is there enough wine for tonight?
Do I need to pop to the shop?
How long until five o’clock?
There were mornings full of regret and Mondays when I was certain things would change. By teatime, I’d be bargaining with myself again. I wanted something to be different, but I couldn’t imagine giving up something that felt so much like a comfort.
If any of that sounds familiar, I get it.
You don’t need a dramatic turning point.
I didn’t have one. After nearly twenty years in that cycle, I just knew I needed things to change.
My last drink was on 15 October 2024, my dad’s birthday. Since then, there’s been more room for the things I love: my children, my family, hiking, and being outdoors, preferably up a mountain.
Life still has its juggle. But drinking doesn’t take up all that space anymore.
More room for what I love.
A few moments from my life without alcohol. Fresh air, muddy trainers, and time for the things that make me feel like me.

That’s why I created Today Will Do. A place to come when you’re tired of the back-and-forth in your own head. When you want someone to understand, without a lecture or a label.
You don’t have to work out the rest of your life right now.
Why a space for women?
Drinking doesn’t happen separately from the rest of life. For me, it was tangled up with work, motherhood, stress and the feeling that I should be coping better.
I created Today Will Do for women who recognise something of themselves in that. Your life might look very different from mine, but you deserve somewhere you can talk honestly about drinking without having to pretend you’ve got everything together.
Forever feels big.
Today doesn’t.

Why the circle?
One circle. One day.
It fills when you make your decision for today. The circle doesn’t need to be perfect, and neither do you.
No streak to protect. No promise about forever.
Just today.
