TODAYWILL DO.
HOW WE WRITE

Honest experience.
Clear boundaries.

Today Will Do is written by Emma from her own experience of stopping drinking. It is a peer-support resource, not a clinical service.

What you’ll find here

Personal reflections, practical planning ideas and activities for the moments when drinking is taking up more space than you want. Emma’s experience is her own. It isn’t a promise that someone else will have the same results.

What this isn’t

Emma is not presenting herself as a doctor, therapist or addiction-treatment professional. Articles aren’t individually reviewed by a clinician unless an article explicitly names that reviewer and their role. The website doesn’t diagnose dependence, recommend detox plans or provide emergency monitoring.

Sources and checking

Where content touches on health or stopping safely, we link to relevant professional sources, including the NHS. We distinguish those sources from personal experience. Publication and update dates refer to the article, not a claim of medical review.

Writing and design tools

AI tools help with drafting, editing, website development and some illustrative images. An illustrative image isn’t evidence of a real person’s experience. Personal stories should reflect what the contributor actually tells us.

Reader stories

We do not invent testimonials, community numbers or reader outcomes. If we publish a reader’s contribution, we will ask permission and agree how it is attributed. This website does not currently have a public forum.
